What might seem anecdotal and a bit “com” is clearly a step forward: the opening of a “resource center” in the heart of the Moulins hospital, opposite the self-service, instead of the Fablab l’Atallier , who had moved to Avermes.
Just have a coffee or book a wellness touch massage treatment
The “Tizenerie”, a Zen herbal tea room, opened its doors to 2,200 hospital employees (1,800 in Moulins, 300 in Yzeure). Carole and Caroline, two retraining agents, take care of the reception and surveillance of the premises, which include a large conviviality room: darts, table tennis, table football and cozy corners for resting. But also two other small rooms in which hospital employees, volunteers, offer sessions of sophrology and touch massage well-being. Without forgetting group sessions of mindfulness meditation and stretching. All of this, of course, outside of working hours, but free of charge for agents.

“We must keep them, our hospitallers!”
“We try to develop the idea of taking care of ourselves in order to take care of others,” says Laurence Garo, director of the hospital. Improving the quality of life at work, I believe in it. Initially, opening this place was without calculation. We had to take care of our employees. You have to do good. And then, I must say, this is also part of our attractiveness plan. We have to keep them, our hospital workers, who just have to bend down to find work elsewhere. A place like that is also what can make the difference, to keep them or to ensure that they join us. »
Pierre-André Périssol, chairman of the hospital’s supervisory board, believes for his part that it is “very important to have a place that allows you to create a link. The tasks of each and everyone are loaded. Self-care is obvious. Spending time together is nurturing the bonds that make us part of this big hospital family”.

Hospitals Foundation
The Moulins hospital center was inspired by initiatives orchestrated in particular by the APHP or the civil hospices of Lyon, by responding to a call for projects launched by the Fondation Hôpitaux de Paris hospitals de France. Positive response and financing of €21,666, supplemented by the support of the management committee for social work in public hospitals, which contributed to the purchase of a well-being massage chair (€3,000), not forgetting the participation of MNH and MGEN mutuals.
“We will have to find time to come”
“We participated in the discussion for the creation of this place”, specifies the Unsa union. “We know that these healing rooms work well in other hospitals. We will see in use. The agents just have to find the time to come. Some cannot leave their service to go to the self-service and eat there. So drinking a coffee might be complicated. But maybe we can come before taking up shift, for those who are in the afternoon, and after, for those who are in the morning. It was proposed to install a suggestion box so that anyone who wants to can suggest improvements. We also liked this place because it will allow us to discuss between professions, perhaps about something other than work. We also plan to organize retirement parties here”.
