What are the astrological signs Smartest in the Zodiac? This is the question that the Gocompare site has tried to answer. Indeed, British researchers have looked into the matter. Each year, a personality who has distinguished himself in a field that contributes to the betterment of humanity is awarded the Nobel Prize. The latter were based on more or less serious statistics… Before establishing their own ranking, the researchers of this study took the time to carefully analyze the astrological signs of more than 900 Nobel Prize winners in all fields combined, and this, since its creation, dating from 1901.
At the top of the list: Gemini, Libra and Virgo
After having collected all the names of the many winners, the British researchers took the time to dissect the dates of birth of each of them. According to this study, and while remaining based on their statistics, the winners who would occupy the first step of the podium would be the natives of Gemini. Individuals born between May 22 and June 21 would be the most intelligent people according to them. The latter have counted no less than 97 natives of this zodiac sign who have received a Nobel Prize since 1901. Among them, we can find among others: Bob Dylan, Nobel Prize for Literature in 2016, or Betty Williams, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize 1976, pacifist from Northern Ireland, defender of children’s and women’s rights.
Then, closely followed, in second position, we find the natives of the sign of Libra who count 93 Nobel Prizes. The people concerned were born between September 23 and October 22. Jean-Pierre Sauvage is one of them, a French chemist, who contributed to the development of molecular machines. The latter is co-winner of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2016.
Finally, to finish, they are the natives of the sign of the Virgin who settle on the third step of this ranking with a total of 88 people born between August 23 and September 22. Among the people rewarded, we can find Irène Joliot-Curie, the daughter of Pierre and Marie Curie, who won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1935.
At the bottom of the ranking: Leo, Scorpio and Capricorn
On the other hand, it is quite different for the last three signs of the zodiac. The concerned are the natives of Lion. People born between July 23 and August 22 are penultimate in the ranking of the most intelligent signs, tied with the natives of Scorpio. Namely, that people born between October 23 and November 21 still count 64 Nobel Prizes. Bad news for Capricorns born between December 21 and January 19, who have “only” 54 Nobel Prizes to date.
This study is of course to be taken with – a lot – hindsight. Indeed, the results are based on the analysis of the astrological signs of the Winners. The Nobel Prize does not necessarily reward the most intelligent people.
