Initially planned in the municipality of Kuru, the hotel finally sees the light of day in the small town of Rantasalmi. “We wanted to keep the original name because it is also a story of perseverance” says Tiina Seppänen, president of the hotel. The idea? The establishment offers its customers a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life: “We wanted to create a place where adults can relax and let go. » Because the Kuru Private Resort is only for adults!

Real bubbles of well-being, the spaces designed by interior designer Petra-Miisa Juusenaho invite meditation. By mixing the materials natural materials such as wood and stone and by installing large bay windows with a view of Lake Saimaa, the hotel confirms its desire to link the interior to the exterior. The director explains: “Soothing and reducing sensory stimuli was the basis of the design of Kuru Private Resort. » The structure of building central, entirely made by local craftsmen, takes the form of an intimate cabin perched in the middle of the Finnish forest.
