Sread the scriptures
God promises Moses:I will pass before your face all my goodness” (verse 19). But for that, Moses must be in the right place. God said to him:Here’s a place near me.” If one stands in the place assigned by God, one can claim his promise: “I will pass before your face all my goodness.”
Why did the prodigal son leave his father’s house when he had everything?
1. He wanted his father’s blessing, but not his authority.
Jesus said: “Why do you call me: Lord, Lord ! et don’t you do what i say ?” (Luke 6.46). A U.S. Senate chaplain once prayed: “Lord, help us to apply what we approve.”
2. He took his father’s blessings for granted.
God warned the Israelites:Be careful then not to forget the Lord, who brought you out of Egypt where you were slaves” (Deuteronomy 6.12). When crossing the Jordan, he told them to take twelve stones, one for each tribe, to build a memorial. Why ? To remind them of their identity in God, and his covenant with them.
3. He didn’t realize the danger, and he ended up in a pigsty.
Attention ! The path that leads us away from God begins with pleasures, but always ends in pain. Those who have walked it will tell you: “Don’t go there!”
Live by this verse:He who dwells under the shelter of the Most High rests in the shadow of the Almighty” (Psalm 91.1). Be in a position to be blessed by God.
Elisten to the voice of God
Have you surrendered all areas of your life to Jesus, or are there still areas where you want to maintain control and act according to your will? Listen to everything God wants to tell you through this message.
To pray is to talk to God. Talk to him like you would a close friend. Here is a sample prayer to help you: “Forgive me, Lord, for all the times I stray from the path you wanted for me, for all the times I go astray, where I act according to my own will. Remind me of my identity as a child of God, subject to your sole authority, Dad. I want to hand over all areas of my life to you and walk in total obedience to you. In your merciful name, amen !”
Lpray to god
What a grace to be able to find oneself in a position to be blessed by God! God wants you close to him, in his eternal presence. Give him all your praise, all your adoration, and express all your gratitude to him!
HASact today
Perhaps you know a brother or sister who has lost their way with the Lord. If possible, go to them to remind them of their identity as children of God and how precious they are in the eyes of the Father. Pray intercessory prayers for them and place their lives in the hands of the Good Shepherd.

“Thank you, Lord, for your promises ! I want to be where you want me to be. Thine be the kingdom, the power and the glory, amen !”
