Apple starts 2023 with the announcement novelties for its service Fitness+. Users will find a new type of workout called kickboxing, a new Sleep theme for meditation, a Featured Artist session dedicated to Beyoncé, new guests in “Walking”, as well as three new coaches.

Kickboxing comes to Apple Fitness+

Kickboxing exercises allow you to work the whole body and gain strength, endurance, coordination and balance. Starting January 9, Apple Fitness+ will add Kickboxing, a new type of cardio workout for working the whole body. Each workout consists of a sequence of separate movements followed by a final sequence that will combine the movements just performed within a full one-minute interval. No equipment is required, and sessions last 10, 20 or 30 minutes. The training will be led by two coaches: Jamie-Ray Hartshorne and Nez Dally, both Muay Thai fighters.

On the other hand, a brand new meditation theme, Sleep, will expand the library and be added to the nine existing themes, including Calm, Gratitude, Resilience and Creativity. This library aims to make the practice of meditation more effective and beneficial. New Sleep meditations will be offered each week and each of the sessions can be integrated into a decompression or sleep routine.
