Fifteen Hollywood weddings that left their mark

1.Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall

The two American actors met when the beautiful model with the steely gaze made her debut on Hollywood sets. After being spotted on a cover in “Harper’s Bazaar”, Lauren Bacall appears on the set of “Port of Anguish” in 1944 where she gives the reply to the already famous Humphrey Bogart. Their alchemy quickly exceeded the screens and the two actors began an affair despite the marriage of Humphrey Bogart to Mayo Methot. Following their separation, Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart were married on May 22, 1945, at Pulitzer Prize-winning author Louis Bromfield’s farm in Ohio. They will have two children together: Stephen, born in 1949, and Leslie, in 1952. After the death of Humphrey Bogart in 1957, Lauren Bacall will have a relationship with Franck Sinatra and then marry Jason Robards.

2. Audrey Hepburn and Mel Ferrer

The star actress of Hollywood cinema Audrey Hepburn met actor and director Mel Ferrer in July 1953, at the age of 24, during a party organized after the filming of “Roman Holidays”. Their romance materializes in a marriage celebrated on September 25, 1954 in the Bürgenstock mountains in Switzerland. To complete this happy day, Audrey Hepburn was resplendent in a designer wedding dress signed Pierre Balmain. The two actors met on the set of “Cleopatra” in 1961. Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor was then married to her fourth husband, singer Edi Fisher, when Richard Burton had been married to his wife Sybil Williams for 12 years. This does not prevent them from starting a relationship and Richard Burton separates from his wife and two children. The two lovers were married on March 15, 1964 in Montreal and divorced for the first time on June 26, 1974 after 13 years of marriage. They decide to remarry on October 10, 1975 before divorcing again on July 29, 1976. 4. Priscilla Beaulieu and Elvis Presley

The “Terminator” actor and former governor of California married journalist Maria Shriver on April 26, 1986 at St. Francis Xaviers Church in Hyannis Port, the Kennedy hometown of Massachusetts. After a 25-year marriage and the birth of four children, the mythical couple ended up separating and Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver divorced in 2011.
