VS’was a seemingly innocuous message. On November 23, beating the clock for its big event scheduled for 1er December, the American feminist association Women’s March (the “women’s march”), born the day after the inauguration of Donald Trump in January 2017, launched a collection of donations from its supporters. “We have an important favor to ask of you,” the email read. “Do you have $14.92 to offer us to strengthen our next mobilization before the Supreme Court as its hearings begin on the cruel ban on abortion in Mississippi? As explained a few lines below, these 14.92 dollars corresponded to the average alms recorded during the past week, nothing more than an anecdote…
