“After somewhat complicated years, a normal life is getting back in place and we are getting back to our habits. We are going to live a festive moment, of animations and collection of donations for the benefit of the Telethon”, announces Alain Blanchard, deputy mayor.

The Telethon entertainment will be in full swing this weekend and this 2022 edition will even be improved.

Like every year since 2010, it’s theAssociation of Voluntary Olonnes who will be in charge of coordinating the many events organized by the Sablais associative fabric.

35 associations respondeds. “It’s a good surprise,” smiles Jean-Yves Pédelagrabe, president of the Bénévoles des Olonnes.

A Telethon village during Louis Guédon and Thieves’ Fair

It is therefore the return from a Telethon village in Les Sables-d’Olonne. He will be installed on the Cours Louis Guédon this Saturday, December 3 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with 29 Tivolis and about fifteen associations present.

At the same time, a historic activity in Les Sables-d’Olonne will also be relaunched: the Thieves’ Fair.

In decline for years, a new breath will be given to it. It will take the form ofa garage sale installed all day on the course Louis Guédon. There are still pitches for those who are interested (pitches: 8.50 euros per meter. Reservation: [email protected] or 06 36 85 65 03). The proceeds from the pitches will be entirely donated to the Telethon.

Beat the donation record

As a reminder, last year, while many events could not be held due to a still uncertain health context, it was still €13,900 who could have been collected for the Telethon.

With the presence of a village this year, the event coordinators hope raise the donation pot !
