“Campaign diaries” is a story with several voices bringing together six comic book authors who will each follow the campaign of the main presidential candidates of 2022 from the inside.

Led by Mathieu Sapin, the project brings together the following contributors: Kokopello, Morgan Navarro, Dorothée de Monfreid, Louison and Lara. Everyone will produce their boards according to the news and in real time to tell the backstage of the campaign.

A funny and very instructive choral dialogue.

7how to lose weight

It is because Joann Sfar struggles to draw that he resumes writing his notebooks. He also makes a pact with himself: to draw as soon as he wants to take his phone. And it works, much better than his diet!

During the Covid epidemic, he revealed himself in his personal and professional life. But far from being just an intimate diary, his notebook is above all an ever-renewed reflection on society, religion, family, art, music…

9Raptors

Raptor shows us alternately two worlds and two conflicting souls. Sokól roams a feudal fantasy landscape, hunting monsters for those who can afford his services, while Arthur, a writer of fantasy tales, who mourns the death of his young wife in South Wales nineteenth century, relies on the supernatural in the vain hope of seeing her again.

This is an inexhaustible album, to reread and reread. Between reality and fiction, modern era and medieval tragedy-fantasy, DaveMcKean constantly reinvents himself, in the drawing but also the poetry and the depth of the words.

Raptors, it’s heavy and elusive, madly classy and audacious.

10The Little People (T.1)

Young Bera feels cramped in her village of elves hidden deep in the forest. Following an argument with her father, she goes on an adventure to discover the existence of giants, humans, whom the elves call “Granjans”.

In her journey she will have the support of some members of her family to face the animals of the forest and the wild elves who will want to prevent her from reaching her goal of meeting humans.

Our opinion in a nutshell (and then a few more): (TOO) EASY

Bera is stubborn. In succession to her father, the head of the elf village (Smurfs with a human face), she prefers to go see the Granjans. Enemies, he was told!

Despite superb sequences, marrying toddlers and very large, this series begins too easily.
