The only room in the Bassin with a connected circuit – La Dépêche du Bassin

Richard Conti on a high-tech machine, a circuit which has brought an advantage to his room since last July.

In the commercial area of Biganos, the Orange Bleue is an altogether banal gym, but Richard Conti has bet on small bonuses. Originally from Langon, a former rugby player, this former construction accountant changed his professional orientation when he discovered the Orange Bleue franchise. Do not believe that the idea fell like a hair on the soup, because over the years Richard has become a fan of gyms. He opened the La Teste room in 2012, the Biganos room in 2015 and finally Langon in 2017. After closing the La Teste room, he devoted himself to the Biganos room but saw it differently.

After having equipped the cycling lessons with a technological tool that allows the race to be viewed on screen and to give each person’s ranking, he has just given his room a boost. Last July, a connected muscle building circuit, made up of several machines with screens and personalized training systems, revolutionized the sports field for its members. It is the only one on the Basin to have such a plate which gives astonishing precision on the areas of the body to be worked on.

With the only teacher
Basin Iyengar Yoga

“This circuit adapts to the morphology and ability of everyone, from boxers to the elderly, there is a playful side and it is a personalized method. The objective is weight loss, muscle mass gain, it can seriously support athletes but also it is used for people who have type 2 diabetes. In this high-tech tool, everyone has a bracelet which, once connected to the devices, gathers all the data on weight, fat rate, performance, etc. “I want to develop the gym in health sport”, explains the coach. It also has an impedance balance, an additional service for members. Another asset of the room, the Iyengar yoga classes given by Hélène Cornil for 4 years. She is the only teacher in the Basin to teach this yoga, the foundations of which were laid by BKS Iyengar, the great Master of Iyengar yoga born in India (1918-2014). Known throughout the world, his influence has gone far beyond the world of yoga. This qualified teacher and passionate about the faithful transmission of Iyengar yoga continues to nurture her practice with the masters who work to teach this demanding and precise discipline. Since this year she has opened her classes to children, a great first, on Wednesdays at the beginning of the afternoon. Classes for adults take place on Wednesdays from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and on Saturdays at 4 p.m. Note that from the beginning of the year the Orange Bleue will change its name because Richard is breaking away from the franchise.
