Lenovo Yoga laptops get a makeover – L’Éclaireur Fnac

Introducing this 7th generation laptop.

Lenovo has a wide range oflaptop, Yoga, suitable for family and leisure use as well as for productivity and creation. The new range has just been unveiled and as with previous generations, users can choose between Intel or AMD processors. The former are recognizable by the designation “i”.

Yoga Slim 7 Pro: a wide choice of possible configurations

It comes in 14 and 16 inches. The 14-inch version has a number of screen variants, with a choice of a 2.5K OLED panel (2880 x 1800 pixels), a 2.5K 120 Hz IPS, a 2.5K 90 IPS Hz, or a 60 Hz IPS with a 2240 x 1400 pixel definition. Power can be delivered either by a Core i5 or i7 H- or P-series processor with a GeForce RTX 2050 or MX550 graphics card, or by an AMD Ryzen 6000 5.7 or 9-series HS processor without a dedicated graphics card. In addition, it has an FHD webcam and, in terms of connectivity, has USB-C 3.2, USB A ports, as well as Thunderbolt 4 for the Intel variant or USB 4.0 for AMD. Wi-Fi 6 is also on the program (6E with Intel).

In the 16-inch version, Intel offers a Core 5-12500H or i7-12700H SoC with the latest Arc A 370M graphics card, and a 120 Hz IPS panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. With AMD, the choice is a Ryzen 6600HS or Ryzen 7 6800HS processor, with a GeForce RTX 3050 / Ti GPU and a 165 Hz IPS panel.

The Yoga Slim 7 Pro will be available from 999 euros in 14 inches and 1499 euros in 16 inches.

Yoga Slim 7 Pro X: mobility without compromising on performance

For this Pro X variant, which relies on lightness with its 1.6 kg, the choice of configurations is more limited. It is equipped with a 14.5-inch 120 Hz IPS screen (3072 x 1920 pixels), an Intel Core and 12th Generation chip or an AMD Ryzen 6000-HS. Two graphics cards are offered, namely the GeForce GTX 1650 and the RTX 3050.

It will take 1199 euros with an AMD SoC and 1299 euros with an Intel chip.

Yoga 7: the hybrid

This is the brand’s benchmark convertible. It is light with its 1.43 kg and comes with a 14-inch rotating screen. The user can opt either for an OLED panel with a definition of 2880 x 1800 pixels or for IPS technology with a display of 2240 x 1400 pixels. No Intel option is available for this variant, which features an AMD Ryzen 5 6600U or Ryzen 7 6800U processor reinforced with 32 GB of RAM. Storage can be expanded up to 1TB (SSD). Its connectivity is quite complete with 2 USB-C ports, 1 HDMI 2.1, 1 USB-A 3.2 and a memory card reader.

It will be available from 1099 euros.

Yoga Slim 7i Carbon: the ultrabook

Its main asset is its lightness, since it weighs only 967 grams. It features a 13.3-inch 90 Hz IPS panel (2560 x 1600 pixels) and runs on an Intel Alder Lake-P processor. Lenovo estimates its autonomy at 10 hours, thanks to its 50 Whn battery. In terms of connectivity, it is content with Thunderbolt 4 and USB-C 3.2 ports.

It will be marketed from 1199 euros.

Featuring a 14-inch OLED panel, two resolutions are possible, namely 4K 60Hz or 2.8K 90Hz. It runs on an Intel Core i5-1240P or Core i7 1280P SoC and can reach 32 GB of RAM. Wi-Fi 6E is also offered, for a connection consisting of 3 Thunderbolt 4.0 ports.

This latest model will be available from 1899 euros.

Depending on the models and configurations, you will have to wait until the end of June or the end of August to buy one of these new Yoga 7s.
