Lenovo presents the 7th generation of Yoga laptops

Lenovo unveiled its entire Yoga lineup for the coming year on May 5, with a total of five models. There’s something for everyone, from the ultraportable weighing less than a kilo to the 16-inch model for content creators, including a convertible.

Lenovo showed off its entire 7th Gen Yoga lineup, which will be available throughout the coming year. The Chinese manufacturer has integrated the latest processors from Intel and AMD, all sprinkled with a pinch of Oled.

Yoga Slim 7 Pro, the versatile model

The Yoga Slim 7i Pro (Intel), Slim 7 Pro (AMD) is the brand’s most versatile model with many possible configurations and two panel sizes: 14 and 16 inches.
The 14-inch Intel version can thus be equipped with Core i5 or i7 H-series (45 W) or P-series (28 W) processors with a GeForce RTX 2050 or MX550 card from Nvidia. The AMD version embeds the Ryzen 6000 5, 7 and 9 HS series processors (35 W) but ignores the dedicated graphics card. On the screen side, Lenovo offers no less than four different panels: three 2.5K (2880 x 1800 px) Oled panels, IPS 120 Hz, IPS 90 Hz and a 60 Hz IPS panel displaying 2240 x 1400 px.
The connection is rich: USB-C 3.2, USB A and webcam with Full HD definition. Intel models come with Thunderbolt 4 ports and Wi-Fi 6E while AMD models only get USB 4.0 and Wi-Fi 6.
The Yoga Slim 7(i) Pro measures 31 x 22 cm with a thickness of 14.6 mm and a weight of 1.31 kg. The finish with glass cover weighs 1.4 kg. It will be available at the end of the second quarter from €1099 with Intel and from €999 with AMD processors.

The 16-inch version only offers Core i5-12500H or Core i7-12700H processors from Intel, while the Ryzen 5 6600HS and Ryzen 7 6800HS are preferred for the AMD version.
The graphics part is entrusted on the Intel version to the new GPU of the founder the Arc A 370M, the AMD version using the GeForce RTX 3050 / Ti from Nvidia. The 16-inch IPS panel is tactile and displays 2560 x 1600 px at 120 Hz for the Intel version and 165 Hz for the AMD version.
The Yoga Slim 7(i) Pro 16 will also be available at the end of June from €1599 in Intel and €1499 in AMD.

Lenovo also offers the Yoga Slim 7(i) Pro X with a 14.5-inch IPS panel with a definition of 3072 x 1920 px at 120 Hz compatible G-Sync. The Intel version is powered by 12th generation Alder Lake-H processors and the AMD version by Ryzen 6000-HS processors. Lenovo offers the possibility of integrating optional Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 or RTX 3050 GPUs to help the processor in creative tasks. The starting price for the AMD version is €1199. For the Intel version, you will have to add 100 € to the bill.

Yoga Slim 7i Carbon, a 967 g ultrabook

For the 7th generation of Yoga, the ultralight Yoga Slim 7i Carbon model comes under the fold of Intel with a 28 W Alder Lake-P processor. Hz. With its 50 Whn battery, the Slim 7i Carbon weighs only 967 g, Lenovo announces an autonomy of more than 10 hours. The connection is however limited to a Thunderbolt 4 port and a USB-C 3.2 port, so you will need to provide an adapter. The Yoga Slim 7i Carbon should be available at the end of June from €1199.

At the origin of the Yoga range, there is now only one real convertible left, the Yoga 7. The latter is equipped with a 14-inch rotating screen with two possible panel options: 2880 x 1800 px in Oled or 2240 x 1400 px in IPS. The Yoga 7 is offered with an AMD Ryzen 5 6600U or Ryzen 7 6800U processor accompanied by a maximum of 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. It weighs 1.43 kg and has particularly complete connectivity, two USB-C ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, a USB-A 3.2 port and a memory card reader. The Yoga 7 will be available at the end of June from €1099.

The latest model presented by Lenovo, the Yoga Slim 9i is the spearhead of this 7th generation of Yoga. It is equipped with a 14-inch OLED panel offered in two definitions 4H at 60 Hz or 2.8K at 90 Hz. The rest of the characteristics are more classic: Intel Core i5-1240P or Core i7 1280P, up to 32 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD. A Full HD webcam and 6E wifi are added to the three Thunderbolt ports. The Yoga Slim 9i will be available like its companions at the end of June from 1899 €. We should be able to offer you complete tests of this new Yoga 7 range very soon.
