Business creation – WebTV of amateur football, food truck, yoga classes… From the idea to the creation of a business for eight inhabitants of Loiret

They received their diploma, this Wednesday, June 15, on the fifth floor of Lab’O, in Orléans. A place where, since last December, they have been able to follow an acceleration program, in order to move from their vague business idea to a more structured, even registered project. They are five of the eight “accelerated” that followed the Pearl Emergence acceleration program.

These eight accelerated (including two women, a majority from Orléans and a Montargois), had very diverse projects: yoga classes, digital marketing, personal development for women, creation of websites, short circuit food truck, solidarity microfinance, training to sell food products in supermarkets…

Promoting amateur football

Or footballamateur.sitea WebTV, to promote amateur football and help clubs find funding. This is the project of Christian Maniongui, 47, “impatient to get started”. He registered his company, CM Presse, in Fleury-les-Aubrais, in April: “There are plenty of solutions, tricks, to finance themselves, but they are difficult to find. I will broadcast the matches, find advertisers, to analyze images, to show the techniques, and to sell them…” Its platform includes videos, magazines, a website and an image analysis tool.

Pearl Emergence is one of the sixteen programs created nationally by Bpifrance, in order to develop, in particular, entrepreneurship in the priority districts of the city. Another program is also held in Orléans, supported by the BGE and reserved for young business leaders70% of whom also come from the neighbourhoods.

An enriching first but unavailability

As recalled by Jean-Claude Roux, who piloted the project, and its director Frédéric Ros, it was a first for the Technopole d’Orléans, more accustomed to supporting start-ups and technological projects. There, we had to deal with the life difficulties of the project leaders, who, sometimes at the end of their rights or without income, had to take time off to work and support themselves. Moreover, of the fourteen project leaders selected, only eight made it to the end and three were unable to come and collect their diploma.

The others, in front of around forty guests, praised the support of their coach, “enriching”. Accounting, business plan, leadership posture, public speaking in public, presentation of their project: so many training sessions that will be useful to them. It is now up to them to spread the word, in order to attract new accelerated students for the second promotion, which will begin in October.
