Brest: always more free sports this summer

The City of Brest presented the sports events for the summer of 2022. The program has been enriched this year, with new activities offered. Everything is totally free. It will be possible to register on site, or in advance on brest.fr

The Adventure Raid, Saturday July 2 at the Moulin-Blanc (biathlon, parkour, kayak, obstacle course, inflatable structure), from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., kicked off the festivities!

The news

• Introduction to rowing

Rowing discovery activity. From July 8 to 10, meet at the Moulin-Blanc beach. From 12 years old. Info. 06 75 48 48 61.

• Beach meetings on Tuesday

For eight Tuesdays at the Moulin-Blanc, at 6 p.m., a sport will be honoured: yoga, long coast, salsa bachata, Brazilian ju jitsu, beach rugby…

• Sports and nautical activities

Entertainment at various activities on the beach and on the water in the aquatico-nautical basin, from 19 to 21 and from 26 to 28 July: paddle yoga, water walking, water polo, etc.

• The Ping tour

The table tennis federation, as part of Terre de jeux (label set up as part of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games), is setting up a Ping tour, with the aim of introducing this sport from all angles (ping health, handicapping, e ping, etc.). Wednesday August 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Capucins workshops.

• Olympic base

Also as part of Terre de jeux, sports activities around the Olympic values ​​will be practiced, from August 22 to 25 at the Moulin-Blanc.
