The Ville de Rivière-du-Loup’s summer program offers numerous events every week, sometimes even every day, to allow the population and visitors to have a good time.

To celebrate the start of the holidays, all generations are expected at Parc Blais, which takes on a festive air from June 28 to 30. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the reading tent, giant games, the mega Lite Brite, table games and the Relève Glacé ($) will be on site. Zumba and yoga sessions slacklining will be offered on Mondays and Wednesdays, respectively, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.er august. Family Tuesday at La Goélette

The Goélette theater is back in service and once again hosts Louperivois’ favorite family shows. Magic, circus, music and storytelling will be honored to capture everyone’s imagination. This is an event not to be missed on Tuesdays at 7 p.m., starting July 4. In case of rain, the shows are presented in the Salle Bon-Pasteur, whose capacity is limited to 200 people.

Outdoor cinema

Five outdoor movie nights presented by Berger will take place Wednesday, July 6 through August 3, at 8 p.m. Participants are invited to bring chairs and snacks to attend the screenings, which will include on the screen Encanto and Cruise in the jungle. See you at the Parc des Princes on July 9, at the Parc des Balancines on July 23 and at the Parc du Campus-et-de-la-Cité on August 9. Since this is the location of the various water games, the saucette will also be in order if the temperature allows it.

50 years and over

In addition to the previous events, complementary programming is offered to seniors, while the walking club, the seniors and the community carpentry workshop will continue their activities throughout the summer. To keep in shape at any age, an energy baladi session will be added on Thursdays starting July 7 and training to stretch and strengthen all the muscles on Fridays starting July 8.
