Tontegrange back on May 13, 14 and 15!

The festival returns after two years of scarcity due to the pandemic. Back with a bang for this event which gives pride of place to family shows but which also offers concerts and its “barn beer” concept.

After a completely empty 2020 year and a 2021 edition limited to a show for children, the Tontegrange street entertainment festival created in 2003 will come back to life in its entirety on May 13, 14 and 15.The non-profit organization Cercle Culture et Loisirs de Tontelange has indeed restarted the mechanics as soon as the yellow code was decreed by Codeco. In a few weeks, the program has expanded to offer you three full days, as in previous editions.

L’Allure Libre des Sables will launch this 18th edition on Friday May 13 from 7:15 p.m. for children (1 and 3 km) and 7:30 p.m. for adults (6 and 11 km), with a new course but still traced in the surrounding country and forest paths, with the Setim quarry as the cherry.Saturday afternoonplace for children and families with a dozen creative workshops for which you have to register, (see the website www.tontelange.be) are offered, between mountain biking, earth workshop, circomatics, creation of candles, paper weaving, basketry, etc., without forgetting three shows, with professional companies (a participative musical show In quest with BarnabĂ© and another of atypical sport, offered by the Fabergosse company, as well as a mysterious show of magic and witchcraft with Maxime Mandrake). will deliver his own compositions, then Awel Blues Experience which will dynamite the Kessler barn with its well-hitting rock and blues sounds, all washed down with beers exclusively from Luxembourg!

Esummer sunday, it will be the apotheosis with street artists, barn artists and craftsmen and local producers grouped under the banner of Bettie, the non-profit organization that links consumers and producers. As for street artists, there will be choice and variety, with Aramelo and its trampoline show, Hoopelai and its hoops, the TaKaPa company and its aerial acrobatics, Fracaban and its bluegrass and folk music, Jump Cut and its surreal fantasies, In Fanfare, Pilip the poet, Buguel Noz and his poetry of earth and fire, Agro the clown and his circus show. And barns, garages and arbours will complete this famous festive and delirious panel with art and creation to taste all the afternoon, from 1 p.m., while The Redemption’s Colts will wrap up this 18th edition, which promises to be dense and radiant from all points of view, to music and in a hoppy barn.
