Naga are coming with Azshara to Battlegrounds – Gamosaurus

Battlegrounds continue to evolve with the first hotfix patch of In the heart of the Sunken City. With patch 23.2, Battlegrounds welcomes a new family of servants, the nagas, accompanied by their queen Azshara. But a new mechanic is also coming with Sorcery. The update is slated for May 10, with surprises in the meantime.

Witchcraft, new keyword

A new keyword is added with the nagas: Sorcery! The latter allows you to take advantage of spells in the battlefields to strengthen the units. Minions with the keyword grant a temporary spell each turn. This spell can strengthen your minions until the start of your next recruitment phase.

The servants of the tavern

A total of 16 new minions land in the tavern. However, most will be unveiled in the coming days.

How should patch 23.2 impact the HS Battlegrounds meta?

With Battlegrounds Patch 23.2, Azshara and the Nagas invite themselves into the Tavern. This is an opportunity to bring a new keyword and spells to strengthen minions. However, if this new family of monsters will change the battlefields, we will have to wait to see them in action to know how decisive they will be. What is certain is that the nagas will force their place thanks to their powers.
