“House of the dragon”, “The rings of power”… The 10 most viewed SVOD series of

Each week, the site Betaseries, which brings together a large French-speaking community of series fans, gives us its ranking of the most watched series on video on demand (SVOD) platforms over the past seven days. Here is the new top of the most watched programs in France between September 9 and 15, 2022.

1. “House of the dragon” on OCS

The dragons of house of the dragon remain at the top of this ranking since the launch of the series. The prequel to Game Of Thrones already renewed for a season 2, finds a loyal audience every week.

2. “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” on Amazon Prime Video

In second place, The rings of power also keep their place in the top this week. The series taking place before the adventures of the Lord of the Rings still like it, despite certain racist attacks targeted at the actorsdenounced by the rest of the cast.

3. “She-Hulk: Lawyer” on Disney+

Nothing changes on the Disney + and Marvel side either. She-Hulk: Lawyer has stagnated in third position among the most viewed series in France since its start. The series humorously follows the adventures of Jennifer Walters, lawyer and cousin of Bruce Banner (Hulk), who inherits her powers after a car accident and becomes Miss Hulk.

4. “The Boys” on Amazon Prime Video

The third season of the crazy series The Boys on Amazon Prime Video moved up one spot in the rankings this week.

5. “Sandman” on Netflix

After squatting first place in the rankings for several weeks, the Netflix series Sandman continues its fall to find itself in fifth position.

6. “Only murders in the building” on Disney+

Season 2 ofOnly murders in the buildingon Disney +, returns to the top 10 most-watched series this week. The series combines humor and investigation when three individuals who do not know each other suddenly find themselves involved in a crime that took place in their luxury residence in New York.

7. “See” on Apple TV+

Jason Momoa and the third season of See retain their seventh place finish this week. The series is set in the distant future, when the human race has lost its sense of sight. This balance is upset when twins are born with the ability to see. Baba Voss, the patriarch, must then protect his clan against a powerful queen who wants to destroy them, convinced that it is witchcraft.

8. “Locke & key” on Netflix

At Netflix, The Locke Siblings and Their Magic Keys continue their decline this week. locke & key ended with a third season of questionable quality.

9. “Devil in Ohio” on Netflix

Here is the only new entry in the ranking of the week. Devil in Ohio on netflix is a thriller featuring a psychiatrist who welcomes into her home a strange young girl who escaped from an obscure sect and who sees her life turned upside down by this arrival which threatens to destroy her family.

10. “Detox” on Netflix

Even if it loses a place this week, Detox remains the only French series in the top of the most watched SVOD series. The comic mini-series worn by Tiphaine Daviot and Manon Azem is, however, dangerously close to the exit.

Methodology : this ranking is based on the community Betaseries and only concerns series available as a video-on-demand service in France, excluding any illegal content. This ranking is established on the basis of declarations from 50,000 active users of the site (54% men, 46% women having seen at least one episode over the month).
