Charmed: 5 stars who played in the series and that we had completely forgotten

Available in full at Prime Video, Charmed is one of those series that marked an entire generation and that still attracts fans on streaming platforms. Launched in the United States in 1998, the fiction, which also had the right to its reboot with many differences, thrilled his fans for eight seasons. The fiction tells the story of three sisters, Prue, Piper and Phoebe Halliwell. One day, they discover a mysterious grimoire in the attic of their mansion in San Francisco. After reading a passage, they find themselves endowed with strange supernatural powers, inherited from their ancestors. This is how they are, in spite of themselves, embarked on a fight against the evil forces, united by the “Power of Three”. Two world stars made their debut in Charmed

Before playing dramatic roles in blockbusters like Nocturnal Animals, First contact or in man of steel and Stop me if you can, Amy Adams played the innocent and unlucky Maggie Murphy, a future whitelighter, in season 2 of Charmed. She was stalked by a demon responsible for causing despair in her victims. The being of darkness therefore cast a bad spell on him by implanting suicidal thoughts in his head. But Prue, by creating her first original spell, gave her luck to counter evil. It was one of the first appearances ofAmy Adams on television before its rise to prominence in the late 2000s.

Another up-and-coming star made an appearance in the “power of three” series : Norman Reedus. The star of The Walking Dead has, in fact, played in two episodes the role of Nate Parks, the boyfriend of Paige, to whom she cast a spell to find out her true feelings on witchcraft. Nate was apparently the perfect man for Paige, until she discovered the little secret he was hiding in the form of a wife and two children. Nate was an interesting character on the show since he wasn’t tied to the supernatural world.

Stars of cult series like The Scott brothers Where NCIS started in Charmed

If she is best known for having played Haley James Scott for nine seasons in The Scott brothers, Bethany Joy Lenz played in several series before joining the one that will bring him success, including Charmed. In a Season 4 episode, she played a fairy tale character called Lady Julia. She will later appear in two episodes of Grey’s Anatomy, just like Alyssa Milano and Holly Marie Combs. Korean-American actor Daniel Dae Kim is best known for his role as Jin Kwon in the hit series Lost and for that of Gavin Park in Angelthe series derived from buffy the vampire slayer. Yen Lo, the evil character of Daniel Dae Kim, in season 4 of Charmedwas very stealthy, running through puddles, and even the Halliwells’ kitchen sink at one point, to gain the advantage over his enemies.

He was one of three demonic brothers destined to wreak havoc on all the goodness in the world. This therefore placed Brendan and his brothers in direct opposition to the Halliwell sisters who ended up defeating them. Two years later, Michael Weatherly got the lead role in DarkAngel in front of Jessica Alba. He will then join the cast of NCIS, series in which there will remain thirteen seasons. It’s always fun to see now-famous faces before their fame bursts into the open and Charmed has had many up-and-coming star appearances over its 178 episodes.
