A doctor takes his hard drive to a computer scientist, who alerts the police after a sickening discovery

Officer in a Parisian hospital as specialized doctor, a 69-year-old man was arrested by the police. According to information disclosed by The Parisian Monday October 3, 2022, the suspect was arrested at his home, in the Hauts-de-Seine department (92), a few days ago. Law enforcement discovered many child pornography content on his computer’s hard drive, thanks to the invaluable help of a computer specialist. The latter, to whom the incriminated doctor had entrusted his computer so that it recover deleted files from hard drivewarned the police when he discovered the unthinkable.

In fact, the practitioner’s hard drive contained more than 4700 files, mostly deleted, involving children, which were recovered by police officers from the minors protection brigade (BPM). At the police station, the doctor admitted the facts, before being brought before a magistrate. The suspect was “placed under judicial control with prohibition of contact with minors and obligation of care“, as indicated by the public prosecutor’s office of Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine), and will appear in February 2023 in court. During his police custody, the doctor explained to the investigators why he had asked the computer specialist to recover these famous child pornography files that he had nevertheless erased from his hard drive.

The doctor’s wife and children had never noticed any inappropriate gesture on his part

Overwhelmed by his unhealthy impulses, the practitioner remembered during the summer all these erased files, which he had downloaded via a secure application. Although he had chosen to delete these files”out of disgust for himself“, he had not gotten rid of his addiction so far. He therefore asked a computer scientist officiating in a store located rue Mongallet in Paris (XIIe) to recover all deleted files. After discovering that it was child pornography, the IT specialist immediately notified the police. Also questioned by the investigators, the doctor’s wife and children had never noticed any inappropriate gesture on his part.
