Five victims of the White Wolf shaman accuse him of rape and sexual assault

He calls himself the “White Wolf”, shaman of a community he founded near Montauban in the Tarn-et-Garonne but also in the Pyrénées-Orientales. Cyrille Adams is imprisoned in Nîmes. 5 people filed a complaint against him for rape and sexual assault.

At the end of January, a call for witnesses was launched by the national police to find victims in the context of an investigation opened for rape and sexual assault against the leader of the sectarian movement “Shamanism of the origin”. At its head, Cyrille Adam, known as the “White Wolf”. He allegedly sexually assaulted a dozen of his followers in his community located in Tarn-et-Garonne and Pyrénées-Orientales.

Cyrille Adam has always been imbued with mysticism. In 1996, he took a step forward by declaring himself “White Wolf”. He says he is inspired by the Indian chief Sitting Bull but also by Hinduism, Japanese or Chinese cultures. According to him, he practices the art of “awakening the Kundalini (energy) in each of us”. He set up a community of which he proclaimed himself a shaman at the Château de Granès in Réalville.

In this vast 19th century residence located on the heights of Réalville, he leads initiation courses for his movement “shamanism of the origin”. On December 9, 2021, he was arrested by the services of the Cell for Assistance and Intervention in Matters of Sectarian Abuses (CAIMADES). Cyrille Adam, known as the “White Wolf” was indicted by an examining magistrate in Nîmes in December for rape, sexual assault and abuse of the weakness of people in a state of psychological subjection. He is in pre-trial detention in Nîmes.

The central office for the repression of violence against persons (OCRVP) was seized of an investigation. According to this appeal, CAIMADES would like to collect new testimonies on this movement, as well as on its leader.

The guru would have prevailed throughout France but particularly in the Tarn-et-Garonne (in his castle of Granès in Réalville) and in the Pyrénées-Orientales (Prats-de-Mollo) where the shaman bought the Mas de Costerebe to establish his sanctuary. He also dispensed his shamanism in Sumène, in the Gard. Money and sex thus seem to occupy a central place in the life of the shaman. Some have nicknamed him “The Gandhi in a Porsche”. According to a follower who stayed for 26 years with the White Wolf and quoted by Le Parisien, a weekend
initiation costs between 180 and 240 euros. For a summer internship it would be necessary to count around 1,000, 1,200 €. When Loup blanc is present, the number of followers can be around 150 people on average, that is to say a receipt of 45,000 €.

In addition to his financial generosity, the guru also claims to cure the ailments suffered by his followers through sex, under the pretext of testing tantrism. Maître Jean-Baptiste Cesbron is compiling a file. 5 people (4 women and 1 man) filed a complaint against the guru for rape, sexual assault and abuse of weakness. “These 5 victims made a report to Miviludes, a government body which observes and analyzes the sectarian phenomenon, coordinates the preventive and repressive action of the public authorities against sectarian aberrations. The facts were considered serious enough for the prosecution is opening a preliminary investigation. Some of the facts suffered by the victims I represent date back to the 1990s, others are more recent (5 years).

For the lawyer who is not aware of other complaint files filed, the investigation will be long and could last 2 years because the facts are sometimes difficult to demonstrate.

Cyrille Adam who denies all the charges and evokes “consensual relations” is still in jail. A second request for release by the lawyer for the alleged perpetrator was made. Meanwhile, the community continues to feed the website by denying the facts alleged against his guru.

“Loup Blanc, transmitter of the teachings described here, is the subject of false defamatory accusations that we reject. Our association has decided to allow free access to this site to show our support…”

The community says it no longer accepts new participants and no longer wants to publish the dates and places of the lessons. Le Loup Blanc would have more than 200 followers all over France. A possible trial could encourage other victims to testify.
