Voice of Cards: The Beasts of Burden will be available on September 13 on Nintendo Switch

PARISSeptember 1, 2022 – Square Enix Ltd. reveals that VOICE OF CARDS: THE BEASTS OF BURDEN™ will be available digitally for Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®4 (PS4™) and PC via Steam® on September 13, 2022. The third title in the Voice of Cards card-based RPG franchise, VOICE OF CARDS: THE BEASTS OF BURDEN is a fully narrated indie experience with maps that will appeal to both franchise newbies and fans alike. VOICE OF CARDS: THE DRAGON ISLE ROARS™ and VOICE OF CARDS: THE FORSAKEN MAIDEN™.

VOICE OF CARDS: THE BEASTS OF BURDEN draws players into a world illustrated by cards. This third part now gives players the option of trapping the monsters they defeat in cards in order to reuse them as skills during battles. They will discover a new story set in a world where monsters and humans have clashed for a thousand years, and where a girl who lost her home has sworn revenge on the monsters. In the company of a strange boy, she ventures into the unknown. Together they will unravel the threads of fate in this broken world.

This one-of-a-kind gaming experience was born from the creative minds behind previous Voice of Cards games, as well as the acclaimed NieR® and Drakengard® franchises, including Creative Director YOKO TARO (NieR and Drakengard franchises), the executive producer Yosuke Saito (NieR franchise), music director Keiichi Okabe (Drakengard 3, NieR franchise), and character designer Kimihiko Fujisaka (Drakengard franchise).
