Crunchyroll has announced that it will screen the upcoming animated film That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond in early 2023. The company has also released an English subtitled trailer for the same.

The film will be released in Japan in November 2022.

It starts with Rimuru introducing himself and how he became the King of Tempest and a Demon Lord after being reincarnated as a slime. After that, we finally get to see the Razha Kingdom.

Next, he shows us the queen of Razha and gives insight into her formidable skills in magic. She showcases her skills in front of a crowd, and Rimuru is told how magnificent the queen’s powers are.

Next, we see Benimaru’s supposed brother, Hiiro, an ogre who is a skilled fighter, just like his brother. It is shown how he gives Benimaru a hard time during the fight while the latter wonders if this is really his older brother.

The next film in the TenSura franchise contains all kinds of adventures and mysteries you’ve always wanted to see. This isekai slime movie will be unlike any other you have seen before.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as Slime is a Japanese manga series written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah. It was serialized online in 2013, but later moved to Micro Magazine as a light novel in 2014. It currently has sixteen volumes.

The story of Tensei Shitara Slime follows Satoru Mikami’s journey after his death and reincarnation as a slime in a fantasy land. A slime is a creature that replicates the shape and powers of anything it absorbs or eats.

Satoru starts eating all the magic herbs and crystals in the cave he woke up in and comes across a dragon that had been captured and couldn’t move due to a barrier. Since they both had nothing else to do, they become friends. The dragon accidentally makes Satoru a named monster, and Satoru promises him that he would find a way to break the barrier. Thus, an unknown journey begins with this unusual friendship.
