Kiichi Kosuzu’s Saikyo Onmyouji no Isekai Tenseiki recently announced an anime adaptation, and we’re in for a double isekai this time.
I called it a double isekai because, unlike usual, Saikyo Onmyouji’s protagonist, Haruyoshi, moves from one fantasy world to another. Instead of being from the real world, Haruyoshi belongs to another realm and is reincarnated in another.
Ever since fans learned of this somewhat unusual story, they’ve been waiting for the franchise to reveal more information, and today it is.

The official website for the Saikyo Onmyouji no Isekai Tenseiki anime revealed its January 2023 premiere with a fantastic trailer.
After being betrayed by his friends, the greatest diviner Haruyoshi enchants himself with a spell of reincarnation. This results in Haruyoshi’s rebirth as Seika Lamprogue, who hails from a wizarding family in another world.
Despite being the most powerful diviner in the world, Seika is stated to have no affinity for magic. He discovers that the magic of this world is much weaker than his own, says he doesn’t need magic, and lives a peaceful life with his onmyou arts.

About Saikyō Onmyōji no Isekai Tenseiki
Saikyō Onmyōji no Isekai Tenseiki (A Record of the Strongest Onmyōji’s Reincarnation to Another World) is a light novel series written by Kiichi Kosuzu. It began serialization in December 2018 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō.
It follows a powerful diviner Haruyoshi who casts a reincarnation spell before he dies and is reborn in another world without magical powers. He realizes that the magic here is weaker than what he had and continues to use his old exorcist tricks.
