After being captured by an occult ritual and held for over 100 years, he is finally freed and embarks on a journey to restore his kingdom. The sand man received widespread critical acclaim and is one of the most successful fantasy comic series to be adapted for television to date.

This show is absolutely phenomenal in terms of a fantasy series. The writing is beautiful and provocative, the acting is captivating (the actors in the ensemble blend so well with each other), and the fantasy elements all serve the aesthetic appeal of the show.
