Fessenheim. The Crafts and Trades Fair returns from September 23 to 25

For the sixth edition of the Crafts and Trades Fair, on Friday 23, Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September in Fessenheim, the Community of Communes of Pays Rhin-Brisach (CCPRB) and La Ruche have set up a rich and varied. Along the aisles, the public will be able to meet more than 50 companies in the fields of housing, outdoor facilities, services, well-being and creation, and catering. Visitors will be able to find ideas for changing the decor, carrying out interior work or new arrangements in their garden, but also tasting tasty local products in the various catering areas, or taking part in a well-being workshop and meeting long weekend of passionate professionals from the sector.

As in 2017 in Réguisheim, where nearly 4,000 visitors came, or in 2018, already in Fessenheim, a large audience is expected by the organizers in the village hall and under the tents outside. “The last edition of this show dates back to 2019 in Soultz, then the health crisis went through there. The ambition is always to highlight the know-how, and to make known our craftsmen and our merchants to the general public. For various reasons, there may be a little less companies present this year, and the format of the show is a little tighter, but there will also be a lot of talk about employment, apprenticeships and training, “explains Claude Brender, vice-president of the CCPRB in charge of the economy and digital, and mayor of Fessenheim.

A job fair on Friday

The show will start on Friday, September 23, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., a job, guidance and learning forum, organized in partnership with Pôle Emploi, the consular chambers and the CFAs. This forum, open to all, will be an opportunity to meet companies with vacancies and difficulties in recruiting, to get information from guidance and learning professionals. The public will also be invited to a farmers’ market, on site from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a dozen local producers.

This show will continue on Saturday September 24 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with, in particular, various activities around well-being in the “created zen” area. A space open all weekend dedicated to well-being and creators. On the well-being side, many professionals will be present (coaches, naturopaths, kinesiologists, reflexologists, osteopaths), to present their activities, and various workshops will be offered to the public (meditation, aromatherapy, etc.). At 6 p.m., a fashion show will be offered by the Carrousel des lyses. On the creative side, a wide choice of jewelry, decorative items or zero waste textile accessories, made by local designers, will be on offer all weekend.
