Father’s Day: here is the crazy address where to celebrate your dad this weekend

As a child, you made him a nice handmade craft, from the pasta necklace to the traditional footprint, all that mattered from the top of your three apples was to let him know how much your dad was dear to you. Over time, you have turned to commercial gifts to make your life easier. And if to change and surprise him again, you simply offer him a duo evening? As cool as he is, you still can’t see yourself hanging out anywhere with your dad. The good news is that we have unearthed for you the completely offbeat address where you will be downright comfortable going out with your patriarch and where we promise you to spend one or more unforgettable evenings.

In video, discover the law of attraction:

The name of the address? Zotte Fly! Located in the heart of Brussels, this typically Belgian and Brussels address is known for its festive atmosphere and for its crazy evenings. On this weekend when we honor dads, the place is also celebrating its very first anniversary, and intends to celebrate it with great fanfare. From this Friday, a big blood sausage fair is taking place there. Indeed, since here the Belgian culinary specialties are in the spotlight, nothing more natural than to organize an entire event dedicated to one of the star dishes of our flat country: the traditional sausage pudding served with mashed potatoes and compote. Not a fan of this dish? Don’t panic, other recipes from yesteryear can be found on the menu, such as stoemp sausage, meatballs in tomato sauce, vol au vent, carbonnade à la flamande or the unmissable chicken and fries salad.

Is your dad mostly a party animal? Here again the Zotte Mouche has everything planned since a DJ will host the evening on music from the 60s and 70s, enough to allow him to relive an evening as in his youth. And if you want to prolong the festivities, good news: the Zotte Mouche has planned entertainment throughout the weekend. On Saturday, music from the 80s will be in the spotlight and on Sunday, Father’s Day, a special menu will be offered. This will consist of croquettes with Chimay cheese, diced apples and bacon as a starter or a tartare of salmon and smoked eels accompanied by horseradish croutons. As a main course, you will have the choice between a pure fillet of piglet with Kriek sauce or a blanquette of salmon and crunchy vegetables. Finally, to finish, sweet tooths can enjoy either a cup of strawberry Melba, or a Wonderful, all for 45 € per person. And to end this weekend in style, the festivities will end with a dance hall! Nerdy you say to yourself? No doubt, but so funny! So if you want to make your dad nostalgic for his Roaring Twenties, all you have to do is reserve your spot!

The address? Rue de l’Ecuyer 47, 1000 Brussels. To book, meet here.
