Tuesday, October 26 at 6 p.m., Laureline Galliot, currently in design residency at the ENSA (school of art) in Limoges, will give a conference at the ENSA during which she will present her work. Influenced by her practice of painting on the iPad, Laureline Galliot, designer, explores the new forms of pictoriality offered by virtual sculpture and painting software in virtual reality.
– The autumn fair of the venerable Artistic Grouping of Limousin (born in 1929) will take place as every year at the Pavillon du Verdurier in Limoges, from October 24 to November 4, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.. Waves
The Ondes Libres association (association for the defense of the Nieul transmitter station) is organizing events on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 October in the hall of honor of the Château de Nieul from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The proposed theme is “a story of waves in a land of harmony”.
Saturday: the first conference will concern the evolution of music in contact with radio waves led by Nicolas Debade (INA-GRM institute). Then presentation of the theremin by Marc Chouarain and Baschet’s instruments by Michel Deneuve.
Sunday: lecture by Nicolas Debade and presentation of the ondes Martenot by Thomas Bloch. During the two days, the public present will be invited to play instruments with the assistance of the musician artist. The weekend will end with a chamber music concert. Admission is free and the health pass is compulsory.

From October 17 to 30, the volunteers (stroke victims and carers) of the association AVC all concerned, associated with the Agence Régionale de Santé Nouvelle-Aquitaine, carry out a prevention action at the scale of the region: “The #MinibusAVC on the roads of New Aquitaine – 1,000 blood pressure monitors offered”. Indeed, arterial hypertension is found in 80% of strokes (there are 2 per hour in New Aquitaine).
This minibus will travel to the 12 chief towns of the departments in the region. In Limoges, it will be Monday, October 25, Place de la République, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There you will find information, you can be screened for cardiac arrhythmias, and each visitor will be entitled to a pedometer.

The Limousin model railway club (CMFL) is organizing its 68th exchange exchange on Sunday October 24 at the Maison du Temps Libre in Limoges (behind the town hall), from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.. About twenty stands will allow model railroad enthusiasts to find the rare piece missing from their collection or the first link in a new passion.

The limougeau author of Mademoiselle Audrina has just published a divinatory book, The Oracle of Light and Shadow (Kiwi Editions, €25.90 – 100 pages). Through 44 illustrated cards, she proposes “to go to meet your shadow areas in order to put a halo of light there”. Mademoiselle Audrina had published last year My Benevolent Witch Tutorials.
