The devil is part time!! Episode 11 Recap

Rika accompanies Ashiya, Maou and Suzuno. While eating, Rika asks them about their respective budgets. Maou confronts a customer who spoke English to the cashier. He tells her to speak more politely. Outside the restaurant, the guy complains on the phone that he has set the correct language for his target country. Meanwhile, Emi finds herself outside a hospital looking for another fragment of Yesod.

Maou and the others start shopping at the electronics store. While Ashiya goes to Suzuno, Maou asks Rika if she is in love with Ashiya, and Rika panics. After that, Maou and Suzuno have tea while Ashiya looks at cell phones. Maou brings up Rika’s feelings, angering Suzuno. Suzuno explains that the situation is not the same as Chiho’s since Rika doesn’t know who they really are. After Maou discusses a solution where they tell her they are demons, Suzuno argues that they can’t involve more humans anymore. Maou explains that when they arrived in Japan, it was inevitable to interact with humans. Moreover, Rika is already Emi’s longtime friend. Suddenly, the screen of LCD TVs in the store was shattered at the same time. Emi calls Suzuno to tell her that Chiho is unconscious due to magic power poisoning.

The group visits an unconscious Chiho in the hospital. Meanwhile, Suzuno has found the formula for what happens to Chiho. Since someone probably used the Holy Spirit’s sonar, Chiho’s life energy turned into magical power. However, Suzuno isn’t sure what the sonar is looking for. Suddenly, the TV behind them explodes. Urushihara introduces himself and tells them it’s probably The Watcher. Suzuno notes that it is Raguel the Watcher, and Urushihara explains that Raguel has special authority regarding fallen angels. Emi thinks the angels are looking for her mother. Outside the hospital, Urushihara says more about Raguel and Sariel. Maou concludes that they must take care of Raguel, especially since Chiho was hit. Emi and Suzuno agree to team up with Maou for Chiho’s sake. Meanwhile, the silver-haired lady places a purple ring on Chiho, presumably containing a fragment of Yesod.
