He started his career drawing portraits of celebrities. Comedians, actors, singers, award-winning athletes, chefs or pastry chefs, many are those who have passed through his brushstroke. This is still the case today. Presented on stage, during private or public events, or for charity events, the artist has invested heavily in his gallery of portraits of personalities. For almost two years, he has been working behind the scenes on his new project: Le Samuraï Moderne. Having fallen into Pop art as a teenager, he works between Paris and Los Angeles. Having at the age of fifteen the opportunity to be the assistant of a great American fashion photographer, he put his first foot in Art, he never left. He walks the streets up and down. Deciphering, analyzing, scrutinizing an incalculable number of graffiti, painted works and other personalizations in the streets of the Baie des Anges, this open-air artistic abundance fascinates him to the point of creating a vocation. Deciding to realize his lifelong dream, he threw himself headlong into Pop Art at the age of 26. Without contacts, nor particular openings, he tries everything for everything and by dint of hard work, and an iron will, he succeeds, over the years to become a known and recognized portrait painter. Today, Wesley Fellous is the Artist of Artists. He draws his inspiration from everything around him. His personal life, his past, his loves, his friendships, the beautiful deeds of the world, mutual aid, the arts and the experiences of Life. His inspirations and experiences have led him to develop a relationship of trust with artists. In 2021, Gad Elmaleh and Kev Adams called on him for their “KevGad & Friends” festival, the first comedy show broadcast worldwide during the pandemic, from the Fridge Comedy Room. The singer Enrico Macias calls on him by ordering a special work on the occasion of the release of his single “My life is here”, intended for a big contest. An expert-gemologist offers him to design a collection of sunglasses adorned with precious stones, “Regard de Gemmes” is created. Wesley Fellous has always been involved in one way or another in associative work. In 2019, he collaborated with the association Les Rois du Monde on a book intended for hospitable and needy children. “From the Forest… to the Furnaces!” » is distributed in many hospitals, children’s homes, and even abroad through the various international branches of the association. In 2022, he donated a work to the association Le Coeur des Mamans, which supports families in very precarious situations. Last punch operation in favor of precariousness. For Christmas 2022, each 15 centimeter Samurai sold will donate ten euros to the Restaurants du Coeur. With a mind full of ideas and a heart full of will, he wishes to realize his dream, the continuity of his work for years: sculpture. In 2020, Wesley Fellous met Caroline Margeridon, a famous Art dealer, and one of the main antique dealers of the daily program “Affaire Conclue” broadcast on France 2. He told her about his project which was not only at the sketch stage, and she challenges him to offer her a sculpted work of art. Challenge accepted. From then on, he threw himself headlong into it. Many moments of introspection lead to the idea of a Samurai. Wesley sketches out the main idea, and starts and never stops. All his time, his energy, his work around the concept, the model, the design, the mixture of materials, the origin of all the materials, are thought out until the last
