A LONG-TERM HISTORY WITH SAMSUNG

When we think of collaborations, we have in mind two types of associations. Those between two opposing brands, and those that make sense from the second you mention the collaboration. Samsung and Ateljé fall into this second category, an obvious collaboration.

The 32-year-old entrepreneur from Amsterdam refers to the fact that since day one, Samsung has been the most searched keyword on her online store. Yara adds: “When Samsung contacted us, Jordy (co-founder of Ateljé) and I were thrilled. But above all, we saw it as a very logical step for us. From the beginning, our community has been asking for Ateljé products suitable for their Samsung devices. This collaboration therefore allows us to create useful and requested products. As for making Samsung covers, that’s something we’ll definitely continue to do going forward.”.

OBVIOUS COMMON POINTS

Samsung and Ateljé have therefore come together for a unique collection in which the new Galaxy products – with the Galaxy Z Flip4 as a star of the collaboration – have been revamped with fun and playful accessories. Both brands have their own DNA, but the similarities are undeniable.

Samsung and Ateljé value creative minds, so content creators Bab Buelens, May Ridts and Lola-Marie Van de Gaer took it upon themselves to tell the story of this collection in video.

A GLANCE AT THE YEAR 2000 AND ESSENTIAL RECYCLED OBJECTS

The result of this fusion of brands is a collection inspired by the early 2000s. “In the early 2000s, your phone truly became an accessory for the first time. You were so proud of your phone and made sure it matched your outfit. It was a time when we customized our smartphones with stickers or rhinestones and frequently changed the wallpaper and the ringtone. That feeling of customization, the pride in showing off their technology and matching it with their style, that’s what Ateljé does. And it’s a mindset that matches the Galaxy Z Flip4 exactly. A phone that’s a real nod to that era and that we’re proud to show off ”, shares Yara.

The collection includes three covers for the Galaxy Z Flip4 in the colors Glazed Donut, Clarity and Blazing Purple, the last two also offering the possibility of attaching unique Ateljé cords. Clear cases and matching lanyards are also available for the Series Galaxy S22. You will also find a case designed for the new Galaxy Buds2 Pro and the Galaxy Watch5 also changes its look with a new bracelet, while the Galaxy Books can be fitted with a completely recycled cover. And the collaboration doesn’t stop at objects, but also has a digital life with free Y2K wallpapers, interactive IG stickers and a digital cover for the Galaxy Watch5.
