The links between cinema and cooking are old, there is no shortage of memorable scenes of great meals. Locronanais Christophe and Virginie Casazza have therefore decided to build a festival around these two worlds that fascinate them. The concept goes even further with certain “goûstorama” sessions, a sacred concept! The principle ? During these original screenings, spectators will taste the dishes evoked therein while watching the film. “The choice of each dish is chosen according to the intensity of the action and the emotions aroused by the scenario of the film”, indicate the organizers, who will thus be tasting the range of whiskeys from the Eddu house (on the exhilarating ” La Part des anges” by Ken Loach) or the chocolates of the Cabana Cacao de Douarnenez. The promise of a funny sensory exploration.
Committed chef Xavier Hamon, from the University of Gastronomic Sciences and Practices, in conjunction with partner producers, will lead cooking and tasting workshops around themes such as “The abundant and little-known fish of Cornouaille”, “The art to sublimate the vegetables” or “Japanese cuisine with products from Cornwall”. Always related to films.

The closing evening on Sunday sums up the spirit of this new meeting, which is bound to be long-lasting.
