PICTURES. Nancy: a “big festive bar” has opened its doors with a unique concept

After the Majestic, the Café des Anges or the 915 Kaffe, 22 rue Saint-Dizier in Nancy now hosts the Ruin Bar.

The establishment, described as a “big party bar” and carried by Fabien Sanchez and Arnaud Giacomoniopened its doors on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.

At Ruin Bär: no fuss

“In Nancy, everyone is racing to find the most beautiful bar. We have chosen to race best spirit et al’most festive spirit “says Fabien Sanchez.

In other words, here no fuss. And to stay in this spirit, what better than a Ruin Bara very fashionable concept in Eastern Europe?

We looked at what is done in Budapest, in particular, and we discovered what a Ruin Bar is: a disused place dedicated to partying. We therefore tried to reproduce this atmosphere, with an urban decoration, even Urbex. To do this, we used second-hand furniture, installed garlands, and graffiti were made on the walls.

No restraint

If the moment of the aperitif will be “rather calm”, from 10 p.m., the establishment will transform into a (very) festive place. Fabien Sanchez also sets the tone: “With us, no restraint, you have to let go! “.

The Ruin Bär is one of Nancy’s biggest bars on the surface, so you might as well take advantage of it! The goal is really that students, young and old can have fun. They must not have restraint. If we want to party, we party and let loose. We don’t want a stuffy place.

And to please all audiences, different DJs will follow one another, with music ranging from 1980s to 2022. Not counting the theme nights !

22 draft beers at the bar

In addition to the atmosphere, Fabien Sanchez also relies on the 22 draft beers offered at the bar and the party snack.

In total we have 22 draft beers. We also offer prices that are not very high. Our first beer is displayed at €2.90, a pint at €4.50. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., our customers can also enjoy happy hour. But also “black Friday”, Friday, where happy hour extends from 6 p.m. to midnight. Finally, we also adapt to customers. For students, we have special rates, we can extend happy hour or even customize rates for a special evening.

Finally, in case of a little hunger, customers can enjoy burgersof the fries or even nuggets. boards with cheeses and deli meats will also be offered, from 6 p.m. to midnight.
