Camille Antoun’s America
Pied-à-terre or holiday home, the New Hotel Lafayette has flavors of the East Coast. In a nod to General Lafayette, hero of the revolution and the independence of the United States, Camille Antoun, former image director of Nina Ricci, draws inspiration from neo-classicism, draws on style references federal and Victorian architecture, in his memories of Cape Code and New England, peels the pages of Vogue Living to compose a decor steeped in history and contemporary sweetness.

At the New Hotel Lafayette, the immaculate facade, its mirrored columns and small-paned windows almost looks like a White House.
Inside, there is no oval office but a welcoming living room, dressed in overseas sofas designed by Pierre Paulin for Ligne Roset, Louis XVI chairs and rattan armchairs, all flattered by the brilliance of the Big Apple lights. On the floor, the marbled tables signed Studio Chaille match the galactic motifs of Maison S. On the walls, a touch of Pepsi ? Almost. The work tied with red and blue pebbles by Marc Beaudeau-Dutilleul, echoing the American flag.
And also on the shelves: a selection in tone. Hamptons Private, The Art of Living in New England, The Monocle Book of Homes, Cape Cod, New York Black & White… and the bibles of contemporary American artists from Jackson Pollock to Keith Haring.
Hotel with terrace
In the courtyard of the New Hotel Lafayette, breathes Paris and New England. On the cobblestones, round tables and striped armchairs recall the chic of a Ralph Lauren designer suit. And the white metal of the furniture, the elegance of wrought iron.
A green terrace, out of sight and noise, where customers come to relax, read or smoke, order a coffee and enjoy the breakfasts in the summer.
The art of sleeping well
At the New Hotel Lafayette, the room numbers have all been painted by hand. A retro accent extended into the interiors, parqueted in pink sapeli wood, all lit by pretty draped ceiling lights. In the suites and rooms, green and pastel orange cover the Parisian moldings with a soft freshness. The black stripe touch, from the curtains to the chairs signed by the Bouroullec brothers, infuses a couture spirit.
Because 25 rue Buffault is first and foremost a hotel, Camille Antoun has thought of everything for the comfort of its guests. The made-to-measure quilt, old-fashioned and quilted, and the high-quality bedding, promise to sleep like angels. The offices have been designed to be practical and functional, the circulation thoughtful and the connections easy to use. Quiet rooms. Bathrooms
As in the days of the General, the bathrooms are covered with cabochon and checkerboard floors. The vanity unit is adorned with a white porcelain sink and a pink granite frame reminiscent of the beautiful Carrara marble. In showers as well as in bathtubs, the Nuxe product line embellishes refined spirits.

Lia Rochas Paris
A multidisciplinary artist, she composes with the elements through photographs, collages, videos, writings, puzzles and photo novels. In addition to his collaborations with the houses of Gucci, La Villa Vassilieff and the Fondation À Rebours Lafayette, his work has been the subject of numerous exhibitions in Paris, Marseille, Osaka, Amsterdam, New York…
She imagines for the New Hotel Lafayette a series of collages where the nude explores history.
Jeremiah Chaillou
A graduate of the Camondo school in Paris, he lives in Marseilles where he created Studio Chaille, his architecture and design agency. His projects are shared between his two cultures. The Lolo bar (two meters from the hotel) is him. The bar l’Horloge in Marseille is also him.
He signs for the New Hotel Lafayette a marble table designed to serve and hold fine books and magazines.
Sibyl of Tavernost
With Maison S, she imagines tailor-made dream carpets. Customizable models, all made by hand, from dyeing to weaving, in the brand’s workshops in India and Nepal.

Free. Even at the hotel. Every day of the year, the New Hotel Lafayette organizes its breakfasts from 7am to 12pm.
