The NYCC clip shows Muriel arriving on Earth and meeting Aziraphale and Crowley. She tells the first that she is human, but the second is suspicious of her presence. This preview also shows that Muriel doesn’t know how to act like a human as she struggles to hold a cup and drink tea. Sepulveda only appeared in two short films, Late night at the cinema and The other endand two episodes of the Showtime series The man who fell to earthbut she will appear in the next action thriller Ravaged featuring Tom Hardy, Timothy Olyphantand Whitaker Forest.
Maggie Service plays Maggie, a record store owner whose business is right next door to Aziraphale’s bookstore in Soho. Service played Satanic nun Sister Theresa Garrulous in the first season. She has also appeared in several other shows including Doctor Who, red dwarfand Quiz as well as the 2015 film London road featuring Olivia Colman, Anita Dobsonand Tom Hardy.
Nina Sosanya plays Nina, a cafe whose “Give Me Coffee or Give Me Death” business is right across from Maggie’s record store. She would also be good at handling the Soho crowd. Sosanya played Satanic nun Sister Mary Loquacious, who later reinvented herself as Mary Lodges, in the first season. She has also appeared in several other shows such as Kill Eve, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistanceand Its dark materials as well as several films such as love in fact, Manderlayand Juliet, nude.
Miranda Richardson plays Shax, a new demon who succeeds Crowley after being fired from Hell. Not much is known about her character at the moment, but the cold stare she gives in a promotional image suggests she’s not someone to mess with. Richardson played the average human Madame Tracy in Season 1. She is also Oscar and Emmy nominated as she has appeared in various films such as Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, The crying gameand Chicken coop as well as various shows such as Merlin, Rubiconand The end of the parade.
Shelley Conn plays the new Beelzebub, leader of the forces of hell. Apparently, this character has another name, so she’s different from the Beelzebub seen in Season 1. It’s unclear why Conn’s character is the new Beelzebub, but that reason will hopefully be revealed soon enough. Conn is best known for playing Lady Mary Sharma in the hugely popular Netflix series Bridgerton and plays an unspecified lead character in Prime Video’s upcoming superhero series Boys: Generation V.
